Good morning people who learn from the example of King David
Psalm 17:3 NIV Though You probe my heart, though You examine me at night and test me, You will find that I have planned no evil; my mouth has not transgressed.
As I read this, I am fully aware of some of David’s monumental mistakes. I am sure David was too.
And yet many times he made statements like I highlighted in the verse above.
“Was he delusional?”
No! He was forgiven!
Oh, for a fresh revelation of the power of repentance and forgiveness!
I also see a man who set his heart after the Lord with a passionate desire to honour Him.
And so, I encourage us to learn from King David today; I encourage us to commit ourselves to these two things David wrote in this Psalm:
I have planned no evil. My mouth has not transgressed.
“Father help us to live lives worthy in Jesus’ Name.”
