Good morning people who allow God to define what the harvest looks like
Galatians 6:9 NIV Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
I fully believe that the harvest is souls being saved out of the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light. I praise God for changed lives! Amen!
But today I want to suggest, that in addition to this, the harvest that we will reap on the other side of not giving up is the fruit of what God is doing in our lives through our perseverance.
The truth is: We want the fruit of the Spirit, but we don’t want to persevere to get it.
Yet this is God’s way.
God doesn’t ‘zap’ us with fruit – it is produced over time, and this time is most often ‘times of persevering; not becoming weary in doing good and not giving up’.
I wish there was an easier way, but there is not.
Again, this is God’s way.
“Are you committed to His way for the fruit you desire to see?”
