#3733 – A Praise Weapon

Good morning people who praise your way through to victory

Psalm 8:2 NIV Through the praise of children and infants You have established a stronghold against Your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.

Praise is powerful!

As children of God and as ones called to have faith like a child, I really feel this verse is for us all today.

When we praise, God establishes a stronghold for us against our enemies; against God’s enemies. This is not talking about people, but about principalities and powers; it is talking about spiritual enemies.

And one of the enemy’s most common weapons is his words; words of intimidation, accusation, condemnation, fear, anxiety, worry, depression, oppression, heaviness…words that pull us down and try to keep us down.

The good news today is: Our weapon of praise silences the foe and the avenger! This is not easy and nor is it automatic. Sometimes we need to praise and keep on praising. Sometimes there is a pressing through that is needed in our praise. But there is power in our praise!

I think I need to share some more tomorrow.
