Good morning people who live by God’s Word
God’s Word is not obsolete or irrelevant. God’s Word was breathed into existence by the Spirit of God. It is not subject to change or negotiation and it is powerful to change lives. The Word of God is eternal truth and life to all who eat its words and apply its principles.
Isaiah 40:8 The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the Word of our God stands forever.
Do you love God’s Word? Are you hungry for it? Are you determined to live your life by the principles that are contained in it? Do you ask the Holy Spirit who authored it to reveal its truth to you personally? Do you ask that same Holy Spirit to help you live life according to God’s Word?
Isaiah 55:10-11 As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my Word that goes out from my mouth; it will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
God’s Word is life-changing and I love it. I want to challenge you today to commit to spending more time meditating on God’s Word and a greater focus on applying its principles. Don’t put it off until tomorrow or next week. I believe it’s time for you to go deeper; not for the sake of knowledge but for life-transformation that takes place as our minds are renewed by God’s Word. Remember the promise seen in the verse above; “God’s Word will not return empty but it will accomplish what God desires and achieve the purpose for which God Himself sent it”.
