Good morning people who are not disgraced or shamed by God

Psalm 3:3 NIV But You, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One Who lifts my head high.

God protects us from our enemies, but He also lifts our head high around our enemies.

“What does this mean?”

Firstly, protection from our enemies is not that we will not face them or even feel the affect of them. It does however mean that when we are hidden IN CHRIST, the enemy cannot win, and he cannot have the final word!

Secondly, when the enemy hurls insults, accusations, evidence, threats and memories at us, rather than hanging our head in shame, God Himself lifts our head up high!

I love this line in the following verse:

Hebrews 11:16b NIV …God is not ashamed to be called their God…

“If God is not ashamed of us, why are we all too often ashamed of ourselves?”

If God has forgiven you, it’s time to forgive yourself.

It’s time to let God lift your head up high.
