Good morning people who look to see the goodness of God every day

Psalm 23:6 NIV Surely Your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

David faced many enemies, but he continually looked to see the goodness of his God. We are invited to do the same.

Psalm 27 is a powerful chapter where David expresses his heart to the Lord. In it, he acknowledges that he can see his enemies, but he also acknowledges his desire to see God. In part, he is talking about what will get his vision the most.

And then we come to this verse:

Psalm 27:13 NIV I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

God’s goodness is not reserved for heaven – it is available to us daily, now!

But we must look to see it!

Remember, it is not ‘from God’ as much as it is ‘in God’, and God lives in us!  

May we all pause today and give thanks for the relentlessly pursuing goodness and love of God that is following us all the days of our lives.
