Good morning people who don’t miss God in the moments

Interruptions frustrate me. How about you?

So often, I have a plan and a focus…and then I’m interrupted.

I’m going to be honest with you: Patience and love is not always (often) my response (I’m just being real).

Yet I see something different in Jesus’ example to us.

“Did you know that many of the stories of changed lives when people encountered Jesus was the result of an interruption?”

Jesus was often leaving a place after a day of ministry or passing through a place on His way to His intended destination. People called out to Him, even to the point of His disciples telling them to be quiet: “Stop interrupting Jesus! He’s busy! He’s done His ministry for today! He needs to rest!”

Yet Jesus stopped. He listened. He responded. He stayed. He LOVED.

Maybe this was Jesus’ equation:

Interruptions = An opportunity to show God’s LOVE to people.

May I be more like Jesus when it comes to interruptions.
