Good morning people who are like Jesus in this world

LOVE is patient = We are patient because God lives in us.

1 Corinthians 13:4 NIV LOVE is patient, LOVE is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.

Patience is not something that comes easy to most people. I am no exception.

A prayer that I have often heard and said as a joke is; “Lord, give me patience, and give it to me NOW!” Sound familiar?

Yet patience doesn’t work like that, nor is it cultivated like this. There is no such thing as ‘microwave patience’.

Patience and perseverance are closely related, and the result of both (for those who do not give up) is maturity and completeness, lacking nothing.

James 1:2-4 NIV Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

Here’s a simple and very clear encouragement to us all:

Romans 12:12 NIV Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.

May this be the testimony of our life, and may our lives accurately reflect God Who lives fully alive in us. Above all, may it be for His glory. Amen.
