Good morning people whose God stands strong above our problems

Permit me to give you another right equation:

GOD IS > our problems!!!

John 16:33 NIV I (Jesus) have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.

As I have been meditating on this compelling, empowering and life-changing verse, I felt Father say, “Overcoming means coming over”. I instinctively knew what He meant.

Overcoming something is not the removal of something. People overcome pain, loss and difficulty to do lots of things in life. Athletes do it all the time. Entrepreneurs do it all the time. People of God do it all the time.

“So, what does it mean to overcome; to come over?”

It is what our opening equation says. We will have problems, and many times, they do not go away, but we choose to place God over them; that is, above them; that is, greater than them!

When Jesus said, “But take heart! I have overcome the world”, He was saying, “Don’t be discouraged or derailed by your problems in the world, because, I have come over the top of the world; I AM GREATER THAN THE WORLD!”

True and lasting peace does not come from the absence of problems, but from the presence of God! And He lives in us and fights for us!!! He is for us!
