Good morning people who get their peace from God Who is on our side
Revelation 1:4 NIV John, to the seven churches in the province of Asia: Grace and peace to you from Him Who is, and Who was, and Who is to come, and from the seven spirits before His throne.
Internal peace – that is spiritual prosperity – comes from a deep revelation and an unshakeable conviction that, ‘God is on our side and He is completely for us’.
I’m reminded of these powerful and life-giving words from the Apostle Paul:
Romans 8:31 NIV What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
In looking at the original Greek word for peace, I love this powerful thought:
Peace is: ‘The tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and content with its earthly lot, of whatsoever sort that is.’
Another equation that is true of Father’s intention for us as His dearly loved children is this: ‘The presence of peace (Peace) = the absence of fear’.
1 John 4:18 NIV There is no fear in love (God is love – verses 8 and 16). Perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
“Father, please do a wonderful work in Your delightful children today.”
