Good morning people who don’t focus on chasing out the darkness

“Are you struggling with something in your life today?”

If so, then I want to encourage you with this statement:

It’s much easier to get light into a room than it is to get darkness out of a room.

My Dad has always given the illustration of getting darkness out of a room. Nobody focuses on this. Nobody walks around trying to swat the darkness and chase it out of a room.

“What do we do?”

We turn on the light!

Light is greater than darkness!

God is greater than the enemy!

Truth is greater than fact!

“So, what gets your focus?”

Today, it’s time to turn on the light! It’s time to go to God’s Word. It’s time to listen to God’s Spirit. It’s time to speak to ourselves in psalms, hymns and spiritual songs.

It’s time to turn on the light.
