Good morning people who testify to what God has shown you
I love the following language that John uses to start the Book of Revelation:
Revelation 1:1-2 NIV The revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to SHOW his servants what must soon take place. He made it known by sending His angel to His servant John, who testifies to everything he SAW—that is, the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Revelation is more about SHOWING (SEEING), than it is about speaking (hearing).
Interestingly, John testified to everything he SAW, and this included the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ.
“You mean John testified to everything he heard in the word of God?”
The word of God is firstly Who Jesus is, and secondly it is what God has said, and both are to be SEEN, and not just heard.
Again, this is an invitation from Father to have our spiritual eyes opened to SEE, and I pray that we will LOOK TO SEE God Himself in greater measure today.
