Good morning people whose God is Forever

Psalm 90:2 Before the mountains were born or You brought forth the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting You are God.

What an amazing thought; God has always been and God will always be. This verse not only declares God’s existence for ever and ever but it makes a definite point that from everlasting to everlasting He is God. God has never been anything else but God. He has always and will always be supreme in authority, King of kings and Lord of lords. What a wonderful security to those who know Him and love Him. When things are unsettled and unsure in our lives and changing from day to day; God remains!

Who God is also remains the same. God has always been and will always be faithful. We can always depend on Him. God has always been and will always be loving, patient and kind. What a blessing for us to know the Living God who is never changing; whose faithfulness endures forever!

As we consider this simple thought today, I leave you with this amazing truth as it is written in the first verse of ‘Great Is Thy Faithfulness’.

Great is Thy faithfulness oh God my Father

There is no shadow of turning with Thee

Thou changeth not Thy compassions they fail not

As Thou hast been, Thou forever will be
