Good morning people who find their deep contentment in God Himself

Philippians 4:19 NIV And my God will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches IN CHRIST JESUS.

The meeting of our many needs is not from us, but from God.

More accurately, the meeting of our many needs is not from us, but it is IN GOD – it is IN CHRIST.

God’s riches promised to us are not material – they are eternal.

In fact, God can meet our needs without meeting ‘our needs’ as perceived by us.

The apostle Paul, who was writing from prison, articulated this just a few verses earlier when he said the following:

Philippians 4:12 NIV I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.

“How could Paul say this?”

Because he had a revelation that contentment is ‘being IN CHRIST’, not ‘not being in difficulty’.

“Have you learned the secret of being content…no mater what?”

It’s IN CHRIST!
