Good morning people who desire to see God’s power in our world today

Isaiah 40:10 NIV See, the Sovereign LORD comes with power, and He rules with a mighty arm. See, His reward is with Him, and His recompense accompanies Him.

There is no power as powerful as our all-powerful God!

Sometimes we don’t see God’s power, but rather we see man’s corrupted power as it brings abuse and devastation around the world.

With the rise and the frequency of man’s corrupted power, hopelessness and fear can creep into the strongest of hearts.

I know that God’s heart breaks with the atrocities that continue to happen around our world.

I also know that sadly, God Himself often gets the blame for the evil that man does.

So today, I simply want to encourage us to pray. Let’s pray for those who have been torn apart by violence. Let’s pray for those who are helping to bring hope where it is needed. And may we also pray for those who so desperately need an encounter with God’s love, however far we may think they are from redemption.

Finally, let’s pray that our Sovereign Lord comes with power; may His kingdom come, and may His will be done on earth as it is done in heaven.
