#3387 – Our Sufficiency

Good morning people who discover their life in the fullness of Who God is

Isaiah 40:6-8 NIV A voice says, “Cry out.” And I said, “What shall I cry?” “All people are like grass, and all their faithfulness is like the flowers of the field. The grass withers and the flowers fall, because the breath of the LORD blows on them. Surely the people are grass. The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.”

There is a wonderful and much-needed contrast between our frailty and God’s faithfulness.

We are nowhere near equal with God when it comes to faithfulness.

Our best leaves us short and our faithfulness at times fails.

But God and His Word endure faithfully forever!

Our confidence therefore comes from our God Who lives in us, walks with us and is powerful through us!

When we fall, God stands firm.

When we miss the mark, God marks us with His mercy, grace and forgiveness.

God truly is our sufficiency and He will always be faithful. HALLELUJAH!!!
