Good morning people who know they are saved because of God’s goodness

Ephesians 2:13 NIV But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

Oh to have a revelation that we have been brought near to Almighty God Himself!

What a glorious truth! What a blessed gift!

But it’s not because of our goodness, our gifts, our talents, our heritage…it’s not because of us at all.

We have been brought near to God because of our position (in Christ Jesus) and because He paid the purchase price (by the blood of Christ).

We are saved because of God’s goodness, not ours! 

Ephesians 2:8-9 NIV For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.
