Good morning people who give God glory in all things
Acts 21:19-20a NIV Paul greeted them and reported in detail what God had done among the Gentiles through his ministry. When they heard this, they praised God…
I see in these verses a great example of the right process and the right result.
The right process was Paul’s right focus.
Paul’s focus was to give great detail of what God had done. Yes, it was through Paul and his ministry, but he did not make himself the focus – he made God the focus.
The result speaks volumes: ‘When they heard this, they praised God’.
The right result of the conversations about us is that people praise God. It’s never about us – it’s always about Him.
“When we talk about what we are involved in, do we talk more about what God has done or what we have done?”
“When people do compliment us, do we take the glory, or redirect the person to God and His goodness?”
May it always be about God and His goodness.
