#3320 – No Matter What

Good morning people who follow the leading of the Holy Spirit wherever He leads

Acts 20:22-24 NIV And now, compelled by the Spirit, I (Paul) am going to Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there. I only know that in every city the Holy Spirit warns me that prison and hardships are facing me. However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.

Paul was an incredible example worth following.

In this passage, I read this and I am stirred. I am stirred by Paul’s commitment to follow Christ regardless of the outcome and regardless of what that means for him personally.

And so let me ask us some questions today from Paul’s life and writings:

“Do we follow the leading of the Holy Spirit when we have uncertainty of what that looks like for us?”

“Do we follow the leading of the Holy Spirit when we know that it will not be easy?”

“Are we committed to the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace?”

“Are we committed to finish all that God has called us to do?”
