Good morning people who are invited into deeper levels of friendship with God

Thank You Father for the gift of friendship with You.

To be a friend of God is one of the most wonderful mysteries I know.

To serve God, yes, I get that. But to be a friend of God -WOW!!!

And it’s even deeper than that. It’s not just that we can be friends with God – this is why God created us!

We see so many examples throughout the Bible and throughout history of people who ‘walked with God’ and people who were ‘friends of God’.

This is not for some elite few. It is an open invitation to all who follow Him.

And it is a level of intimacy beyond human comparison. This is something that I don’t claim to understand, for I believe we can’t fully grasp what Father desires, but I know He desires more than we often pursue and embrace.

God wants to be our friend. He wants to share His heart with us. He wants to walk with us, talk with us and enjoy our company.
