Good morning people who follow the example of the Son of God

Proverbs 11:2 NIV When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.

It’s not uncommon for people to think of themselves more than others. It’s not uncommon for people to think better of themselves than they do of others.

Yet Jesus left us an example of ‘laying down our lives’; of putting others first. This takes humility.

Pride is what ended Lucifer’s time in heaven and his fellowship with God. Pride is ugly, but it is also avoidable.

We need God – I mean, we really need God. Without Him we are nothing and we can do nothing.

May the people of God be people of true and deep humility. Let’s promote others, not ourselves. Let’s give our best to others and love people like Jesus loves people.
