#3247 – Correct Focus

Good morning people who don’t confuse God’s work and people’s work

Exodus 16:2-3 NIV In the desert the whole community grumbled against Moses and Aaron. The Israelites said to them, “If only we had died by the LORD’s hand in Egypt! There we sat around pots of meat and ate all the food we wanted, but you have brought us out into this desert to starve this entire assembly to death.”

I find it interesting that the children of Israel changed their language from ‘God brought us out’ (earlier verses) to ‘you (Moses and Aaron) brought us out’.

“When life takes unexpected and difficult turns, when there are more questions than answers, do we still believe, (like Joseph did with his brothers), that God is leading us and He is sovereign?”

“Or do we turn and attack our leaders, the very ones that at other times we have thanked God for?”

Don’t confuse or mistake what God is doing and what people are doing.

Don’t get your focus on people when it should be on God.
