Good morning people who honour God through the tests of life

Job 23:10-12 NIV But He knows the way that I take; when He has tested me, I will come forth as gold. My feet have closely followed His steps; I have kept to His way without turning aside. I have not departed from the commands of His lips; I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my daily bread.

“Are we living life in such a way that God would say this about us?”

God knows our decisions before we make them. This does not take away our free choice. It simply points to God’s omniscience (He knows everything).

On our journey, God will allow tests. He did with Jesus in the wilderness, and He did in this passage with Job.

The question is, “Will we come out of the test like gold; refined and better than we were before?” 

This verse then gives us three things that will ensure we come out refined like gold:

I have kept to His way without turning aside. I have not departed from the commands of His lips; I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my daily bread.

Today is a new day; a day to return to the Lord and to His ways.
