Good morning people who are a source of joy in your relationships
Job 17:5 NIV If anyone denounces their friends for reward, the eyes of their children will fail.
I have two questions I want to ask you about your friendships:
“Are you a faithful friend?”
“Are you a giver or a taker in your relationships?”
In Proverbs 18:24 in the NKJV, it says, ‘A man who has friends must himself be friendly’.
Some friendships are lop-sided. I have seen and heard about ‘friendships’ where one side is always giving and the other side is always taking; one side is focused on the positive and the other is focused on the negative.
Friendships should not be a drain on you, but a source of joy. Friendships should not deplete you, but rather, they should do you good.
And as a friend, we should do others good.
I want to ask you today to think and act upon this question, “Which one of my friends can I encourage and bless?”
