#3212 – In God’s Hands

Good morning people who walk with the God Who is sovereign over all

Job 14:5 NIV A person’s days are determined; You have decreed the number of his months and have set limits he cannot exceed.

Job believed that his times were in God’s hands.

Even in the midst of pain and suffering beyond what I can imagine, Job had confidence in God’s sovereignty. He knew that God had ordained and determined his days, and he believed that God is always good.

It reminds me of Joseph. He too believed in God’s sovereignty, even when he faced rejection, betrayal, accusation and false imprisonment.

For both of these men, God redeemed and restored what had been lost.

But I believe they would have confidently trusted in God’s sovereignty even if nothing changed.

I say this because of their confession, integrity and focus while it appeared God had abandoned them and nothing had changed.

“Do we truly believe ‘our times are in God’s hands’?”

“Do we trust Him even when nothing appears to be changing?”
