Good morning ones who want to be wise

The theme of the Book of Proverbs is wisdom. Why is it so important to have a whole book on wisdom? I believe that part of the reason is we often default to our own understanding and not access God’s wisdom. The results many times are lives that are frustrated and broken. But it does not have to be this way. God’s wisdom is available for every Believer and just have a look at some of its rewards!

Proverbs 3:13-18 Blessed is the man who finds wisdom, the man who gains understanding, for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold. She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honour. Her ways are pleasant ways, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who embrace her; those who lay hold of her will be blessed.

Read it again slowly and count the blessings of wisdom. It really sums it up when it says ‘nothing you desire can compare with her’.
