Good morning people who walk with and personally know the One True God

As I meditate on this, I felt to check what the dictionary said about the word sovereign. Interestingly, the first thing it referred to was the Pope (pontiff) and the second was a supreme ruler; especially a monarch. Further done the list it says ‘possessing supreme or ultimate power’, yet nowhere did it refer to God.

I want to amend that today and speak the truth:

God alone is truly Sovereign!

With no disrespect to anyone else who has a modicum of authority and power (deserved or otherwise), no one in heaven or on earth comes anywhere close to being truly sovereign accept God Almighty! In fact, there it is in His name – Almighty!

And so today, I want to encourage us all to keep the place of sovereignty for the One Who truly is sovereign, and that is our great God!
