Good morning people who never allow the simplicity of truth to grow old

2 Peter 1:3 (NIV) His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of Him Who called us by His own glory and goodness.

I am called by God. Now that’s amazing!

I am not rejected by God, I am called by God. Despite my faults and my blatant sins at times, I am called by God. He doesn’t cast me aside nor does He step back from me. In fact, He sees me from a completely different perspective to how I often see myself.

I am not unknown or distant to God, I am called by God. He knows my name; in fact, He knows the number of hairs on my head (which is not many these days). He is not unfamiliar with me or detached from me. He knows me deeply because He has called me and wants me.

I am called by God. WOW!

Sometimes we don’t need to add too many words to a simple yet profound statement that is worth meditating on all day. So why don’t we do that:

I am called by God.

Ah, it is well with my soul, because, I am called by God.
