Good morning people who continually bring their focus back to God

2 Peter 1:3 (NIV) His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of Him Who called us by His own glory and goodness.

Godly living comes from seeing God as great and as wonderful as He is!

Too often, godly living is a pursuit that many Christians embark on; it’s something we pursue, it’s something we try to achieve, it’s something we try to make happen, it’s something that can easily and innocently become a work of our flesh.

Godliness comes from God. Godliness is the fruit of abiding in Him. Godliness is the out working of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Holiness is best achieved when we are positively overwhelmed by God’s beauty, majesty and His holiness.

As we are truly captivated by Who God is, we will realise that His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life.
