Good morning people who work as unto the Lord

Daniel 1:18-19 (NIV) 18 At the end of the time set by the king to bring them into his service, the chief official presented them to Nebuchadnezzar. 19 The king talked with them, and he found none equal to Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah; so they entered the king’s service.

In our place of employment, our employers should find none equal to the people of God. A conversation with us should be a conversation that does them good!

“How does your boss see you?”

I wonder if the following verses are true of all of our lives:

Colossians 3:23-24 (NIV) 23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.

“Who are you working for? If it’s the Lord (as the Bible says), does your employer see the fruit of this in you; in your attitudes, words, actions and work ethic and integrity?”
