Good morning people who fix their eyes on Jesus

Psalm 141:8 (NIV) But my eyes are fixed on You, Sovereign Lord; in You I take refuge—do not give me over to death.

“What has your attention most today?”

When we have challenges and difficulties in life, they can easily get our primary focus. When decisions need to be made, they can consume us to the point of distraction or even sickness. Our ‘to do’ lists can be a constant companion, even when we are trying to rest. Then there are relationships, sports, TV, hobbies, social media, entertainment…we are so often pulled from one place to another in our focus and attention.

But today I want to remind us that we are invited to fix our eyes on Jesus; to look in His wonderful face; to meditate on His goodness; to think about His faithfulness. He is our constant and our stability.
