#2357 – Holiness Adorns

Good morning people who are set-apart and different from the world

Psalm 93:5 (NIV) Your statutes, Lord, stand firm; holiness adorns Your house for endless days.

The Word of God is Eternal. The Word of God is both the Son of God and what God says. Both stand firm. There is no shaking that can derail or topple the Word of God. God Himself and all He says is not shifting sand but a Solid Rock. Immoveable! Impregnable! Steadfast! Faithful!

God’s Word is truth. The Son of God is Truth. Truth will set you free and keep you free!

“What distinguishes the people of God from those who don’t walk with God?”

One of the identifying marks of a Believe is ‘holiness’. Upon the foundation of Truth, holiness is a sign that we are people of God.

Holiness means: ‘a sacred place or thing, consecrated, dedicated, separateness, set-apartness’.

In other words, holiness is not being common, but being set-apart for noble and divine purposes. Holiness is about being consecrated to the Lord. Holiness is dedicating our lives, giving our lives, for the glory of God, not for the furtherance of self.

Jesus went as far as to say:

1 Peter 1:16 (NIV) For it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”

“Is holiness a distinctive of your life?”
