Good morning people who fix their eyes on the Lord Jesus Christ

Psalm 34:4 (NIV) I sought the Lord, and He answered me; He delivered me from all my fears.

Fear is never from the Lord.

“So where does fear come from?”

2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV) For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Fear is a spiritual attack from the enemy. God is the Author of Peace; in fact, He is referred to as The Prince of Peace. The enemy is the opposite. His desire is to get us to lose our peace. His desire is for us to live in fear.

“What does fear rob us from?”

Fear does not just make us afraid of a particular thing, but it often robs us of our destiny and purpose in God. Many Christians have shrunk back from fully embracing God’s delightfully and incredibly large plan for their lives because of fear.

“What does God want us to do with fear?”

Firstly, recognise it as what it is: an attack of the enemy. Secondly, seek the Lord as this scripture says. The best antidote to fear is faith, and the best fuel for faith is a deeper revelation of God. The more we keep our eyes on God, the less power fear can have in our lives. 

I believe God invites every one of us today to make our lives a ‘FEAR FREE ZONE’.
