Good morning people who were born for such a time as this
The story of Esther is a very well-known one. Esther was a Jew who became queen. An evil man named Haman plotted to have all the Jews killed on a certain day. Esther’s uncle, Mordecai, sent word to Esther asking her to go and petition the king to spare their lives and the lives of all the Jews. Esther rightfully responded that if she went to the king uninvited, it could cost her her life. Now here’s Mordecai’s response:
Esther 4:13-14 (NIV) He sent back this answer: “Do not think that because you are in the king’s house you alone of all the Jews will escape. For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”
Here’s the word of the Lord for you today:
You are a person of royal position. You are a child of the king; a royal priesthood. You are appointed for such a time as this. There are no accidents in God. You are alive at this time in history because God saw the power of your influence in His good, perfect and pleasing plan. Your life is significant and your royal position is for a divine purpose.
“So, are you living each day with an awareness and an acceptance of your royal position in Christ?”
There is a world that needs all of us royal sons and daughters to step up into our God-given destiny.
You and I were born for such a time as this.
