Good morning people whose curses have been turned into blessings!
Nehemiah 13:1-2 (NIV) On that day the Book of Moses was read aloud in the hearing of the people and there it was found written that no Ammonite or Moabite should ever be admitted into the assembly of God, because they had not met the Israelites with food and water but had hired Balaam to call a curse down on them. (Our God, however, turned the curse into a blessing.)
“Did you hear that last part?”
‘Our God, however, turned the curse into a blessing!’
This is what our great God continues to do:
Once we were lost, but now we are found!
Once we were dead in sin, but now we are alive in Christ!
Once we were bound by sickness, but now we are healed in Jesus’ Name!
Once we were condemned, but now we are justified!
Once we were filthy, but now we are white as snow!
Once we wore rags, but now we wear robes of righteousness!
Once we lived in fear, but now we live with peace and joy!
Oh our great and wonderful God is still the God of the divine exchange! He is not a ‘patch-up’ God, but rather a ‘transformational’ God.
“Do you feel cursed?”
I pray God turns it into a blessing today!
