#2190 – More Than Most

Good morning people who live extra-ordinary lives for God’s glory

Nehemiah 7:2 (NIV) I put in charge of Jerusalem my brother Hanani, along with Hananiah the commander of the citadel, because he was a man of integrity and feared God more than most people do.

“Are you a person of average integrity or one with more integrity than most people?”

“Do you fear the Lord as much as the average person does or more than most people do?”

God is looking for extra-ordinary followers of Christ. The truth is, anything less than extra-ordinary is in fact sub-ordinary. Unfortunately the commitment to and standard of righteousness has become blurred with a worldliness that is common.

We are called to be salt and light, not bland and grey. We are called to be different, not the same. We are saved into greatness, not mediocrity.

God is looking for people through whom He can show Himself strong and faithful.

“Have you made a commitment to be such a person, regardless of the cost or sacrifice?”

Jesus did this for us.

“What are we willing to do for Him?”
