The power of Good Friday is only powerful because of Resurrection Sunday.

Without Resurrection Sunday, we would only have the most horrific crime in all of History.

Without Resurrection Sunday, we would only have the saddest event in all of History.

Without Resurrection Sunday, we would still be lost in our sins.

Without Resurrection Sunday, we would still be far away from God.

Without Resurrection Sunday…

…well, I can’t imagine the extent of what no Resurrection Sunday would mean to us today!

Today I want to say thank You Father for the gift of Your Son. I want to say thank You for not giving up on us even though we had despised and rejected You.

Today I want to say thank You Jesus for Your obedience and selfless sacrifice for us by your death on the cross. I want to say thank You for the price You paid in feeling forsaken by Your Father – I can’t start to imagine how that felt.

Today I want to say thank You Holy Spirit for raising Jesus from the dead! I want to say thank You for coming and living in us!

Today I am grateful to God for Resurrection Sunday!!!
