#2082 – Transition Season

Good morning people who are safe in the arms of a loving Father

There is an essential need to recognise and understand the seasons of God. One of the seasons of life, that is common to us all, is the season of transition. Maybe you are there now. I pray you are encouraged today.

The challenge of a transition season is that it feels like you are ‘in between’ and that things are not happening as they should. There is a sense of wandering and like you are in ‘no man’s land’.

But here’s the good news:

We need to understand that fruitful people are pruned for greater fruitfulness:

John 15:2 (NIV) He cuts off every branch in Me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit He prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.

We need to understand that fruitful people only produce fruit in season:

Psalm 1:3 (NIV) That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither—whatever they do prospers.

The blessing of a transition season is that it is a promotion into something greater. This is the nature of our God; He takes us on from glory to glory:

2 Corinthians 3:18 (NKJV)  But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

I pray you know God’s smile as much in the season of transition as you do in the season of increased fruitfulness.
