Good morning people who fight with the Word of God

Ephesians 6:17 (NIV) Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

It’s time for us to use the Word of God to fight for our relationships, rather than misusing the Word of God to fight against people.

The Word of God is so powerful, but it must be used correctly. Using the Word of God correctly is using it in accordance with Father’s intention, and His heart is always restoration of relationships.

When circumstances and situations clearly declare something negative about our relationships, let’s go to God’s Word and see what God says.

When fear knocks on the door, let’s speak words of faith from God’s Word. Let’s speak a change before there is any evidence of a change. Let’s speak life before there is any evidence of life. Let’s speak restoration before there is any evidence of restoration. This is faith and this pleases God.

Today as you contemplate a difficult relationship, I wonder if you would be courageous enough to step back and ask God what He says about what’s happening. Now I wonder if you would be bold enough and selfless enough to start to declare God’s Word over your relationships. The sword of the Spirit is powerful.
