#2038 – Whole Hearted

Good morning people who live for God completely

Luke 1:5-6 (NIV) In the time of Herod king of Judea there was a priest named Zechariah, who belonged to the priestly division of Abijah; his wife Elizabeth was also a descendant of Aaron. Both of them were righteous in the sight of God, observing all the Lord’s commands and decrees blamelessly.

People of God do not try and see how close to the line of compromise they can walk and still be safe with God, but rather, their all-consuming passion and desire is to bring pleasure to God by living lives worthy of Him.

We are worthy of Him because of Him and not of ourselves, but it is in us living worthy lives that we express a gratitude for God’s imputed worthiness which is freely given.

“So how do you live? Do you live grateful to God or do you live taking God for granted?”

It’s time for many Christians to step back – no run back – from the line of compromise. Too many Christian see how close they can get to sin and still be godly. This thinking and lifestyle is like a spit in the face to God.

God did not whole-heartedly lay down His life for us so that we could live half-heartedly for Him. With God, it is all-or-nothing, and it hasn’t changed.

I pray the love of God compels you to live for Him with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. I pray God is overjoyed by the fragrance of your wholehearted devotion to Him.

It’s time for a change.
