Good morning people who live all of life for the glory of God

It’s time to choose to think about whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely and admirable.

Philippians 4:8 (NIV) Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

All of these can be summarized by anything that is excellent or praiseworthy. The words we see here are ’virtuous course of thought, feeling or action, moral goodness, any particular moral excellence as in modesty or purity, a commendable thing’.

If something is going to make Father God smile, then go ahead and choose to think about it. If it’s not, choose not to think about it.

As I finish this exhortation on Philippians 4:8 I want to remind us all that we do have the power to choose what we continue thinking about. Let’s be empowered this year to think right, and consequently, act and live right. Let’s be diligent in our thought life; let’s interrupt default wrong thinking and redirect it quickly.

I pray that the following well known verse will be our desire and testimony this year:

Romans 12:2 (NIV) Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will.
