#1229 – Holy Place

Good morning people who meet with God

Point number one: In your difficult times, keep meeting with God.

Point number two: Don’t be afraid of spiritual things which don’t make sense.

Point number three: Your current position, in the desert, is a holy place, because God is with you.

Exodus 3:1 Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the far side of the desert and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.

Exodus 3:5 “Do not come any closer,” God said. “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.”

This is very significant for some of you today.

Sometimes we feel like God has left us in our difficult times. Sometimes we feel like God is far away. Maybe you feel like that now.

But here’s the truth: God is with you as much in the difficult desert places as He is when everything is going great.

God’s holiness does not change due to location. God’s goodness does not change due to location. God’s grace does not change due to location. God’s faithfulness does not change due to location.

Are you in a difficult barren desert place?

God is with you, and because He is there, your current place is a holy place.

The important ingredient in a place being holy is the presence of God. God’s presence is not intimidated by a location, regardless of how difficult it is.

I encourage you to thank God that He is with you today, yes even if you are in a difficult desert place.
